From June 26 to 28, 2024, the West African Center for Banking Studies and Training (COFEB) conducted the practical phase of the fourth edition of its capacity-building program in research methodology for researchers in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). Consistent with previous editions, this practical phase featured a workshop where distinguished Professors assessed research projects and articles submitted by young researchers who participated in the theoretical phase of the program. The researchers received valuable guidance and advice to help them better design or complete their research endeavors.
The workshop brought together several authors whose research projects and articles were selected following a call for submissions, as well as other young researchers wishing to take advantage of the experience shared by renowned evaluators to enhance their research skills. 
The theory phase of the 2024 edition of the Union’s Researcher Capacity-Building Program in Research Methodology—part of a series of workshops organized by the COFEB—commenced with sessions held on February 21 and 22, 2024.
