Start of the Academic Year for COFEB’s 47th Graduating Class
The 47th graduating class of the degree program of the West African Center for Banking Studies and Training (COFEB) kicked off their academic year on Monday, November 4, 2024.
The class consisted of twenty-nine auditors, with twenty-seven hailing from Union countries and two from the Bank of the Republic of Burundi (BRB). After they were welcomed by the COFEB departments responsible for providing practical information and handling administrative formalities, they were given a tour of the BCEAO’s premises, including the classrooms, the libraries at both BCEAO Headquarters and COFEB, the Monetary Museum, etc.
COFEB’s General Management then welcomed the class in Auditorium A on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. General Manager Mahaman Tahir Hamani took the opportunity to welcome the new auditors and advised them on how to successfully complete their training. He concluded by urging them to embrace the cardinal values of the Central Bank.
The meeting ended with a group photo in front of the Conference Room at BCEAO Headquarters.
