The fifth annual issue in the "COFEB Abstracts" series has been published on the COFEB website. It is based on a Study and Research Paper (SRP) written by Vigninou Gammadigbe on the subject of the "Impact of COVID-19 on the activities and soundness of WAMU banks", in December 2021.

This Abstract summarizes the contents of the study, which aimed to assess the resilience of the WAEMU banking sector and its ability to withstand exogenous shocks in the context of the health crisis.
