This publication is the twenty-second issue of the "COFEB Precis" series.

It was prepared by Professor Fodiyé Bakary Doucouré, Senior Lecturer at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, who has been teaching in the COFEB degree program for several years. Well apprised of the COFEB environment, Professor Doucouré designed this book for use by COFEB students and staff as a teaching tool on descriptive statistics, with detailed demonstrations and corrected exercises using Eviews and Stata software.
