Closing Ceremony for the First Phase of Training for COFEB’s 46th Graduating Class


On Friday, July 19, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., COFEB’s Auditorium A hosted the official closing ceremony marking the completion of the first phase of theoretical training for the Center’s 46th graduating class.
This formal event was presided over by the Governor of the BCEAO, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou. Also taking part were members of the BCEOA’s Government, Directors General and their Advisors, and Central Services Managers, as well as COFEB officials, auditors from the 46th graduating class and the COFEB’s lecturers.

Current Affairs Conference on “Successful Experiences in Mobilizing Tax Resources: What Lessons for African Countries with High Tax Potential?”

On Monday, July 15, 2024, at 3:30 p.m., the West African Center for Banking Studies and Training (COFEB) held a current affairs conference on “Successful Experiences in Mobilizing Tax Resources: What Lessons for African Countries with High Tax Potential?”. 
The keynote speaker of the conference was Mbaye Diène, Professor of Economics at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar and Affiliate Grade A professor with COFEB. The event took place in person at Auditorium A of the Center and was attended by students from COFEB’s 46th graduating class.

Joint BCEAO-COFEB/Banque de France-IBFI Seminar on “Financial Stability and Macroprudential Policy”

The West African Center for Banking Studies and Training (COFEB), in collaboration with the Banque de France’s International Banking and Finance Institute (IBFI), organized a seminar on “Financial Stability and Macroprudential Policy” on October 16 and 17, 2024. This event took place in a hybrid format, welcoming attendees both in-person at the BCEAO headquarters in Dakar and virtually through videoconferencing.
